 I am a homegrown Monroe native. I'm the daughter of long time local DJ Michael (Mick) Lane and artist Lisa Jennings. For 12 years I was involved with Strauss Theater with my brother David Lane at Mainstage and the Young Troupe. (kind of obvious that I'm really into my family!)
I obviously got into being a DJ because of my dad. He used to bring my brother and I into the studio to make commercials or just hang out. As I got older I did more and more commercials for him, then one day, POOF! I became the DJ for Hot 103-1! It's awesome!
I am a senior vocal music education major at ULM. Hopefully, I'll be teaching at the college level one day. If not at a college then I'm okay with teaching at a high school. I actually began my college career as a math education major, but quickly realized that the students wouldn't want to be there and neither would I. So I switched to my passion of music!
I have the sweety sweetest cat in the world! His name is Ozy and he's a ragdoll. I'm a huge advocate for animal welfare. I love all animals and I love to go to the local shelters just to play with the animals. I don't know if you'll find a bigger softie when it comes to furry critters!
