I’m a radio guy at heart. On my way to school one day, a local morning show just began to make me laugh so much, I probably should have pulled over to be safe. After I got out of the car, I said to myself, “I wanna do what that guy does.” Here I am, years later, still living my dream.
Originally from Gilbert, Louisiana and a graduate of Winnsboro High School, I now live in West Monroe. After a short stint in Dallas, I decided I wanted to do radio at home. I moved back to the Twin Cities and started working for KXUL, the student-run campus radio station at the University of Louisiana – Monroe.
Other than radio, I’m a pretty big sports fan. I absolutely love our New Orleans Saints. I’ve always been a Saints fan. Other Saints fan will know they are with one of their own here when I say that I remember the Billy Joe’s and know that Aaron Brooks throws the best backwards pass in the NFL. But we’re the champs now. Who Dat?!?
I’m the biggest geek you’ll ever meet. I have more gadgets than I can keep up with…and don’t even think about trying to take my iPhone away. We’ll have a problem if you do that.
You’ll find me out on the town on a usual weekend. If I’m not working the turntables at a local club, you’ll find me meeting new people at the bar.
